Maruti Suzuki sold 200,390 units in June 2026, up 19.3 percent year on year.
It crossed the two-lakh monthly mark for the first time. Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 23.8 percent to 147,187 units. Q1 volumes grew about 29 percent, a firm FY27 start for the leader.

Petrol ethanol blending already hit 20 percent in 2024, ahead of the 2030 target, and E100 clearance widens the market for sugar and grain distillers.

Maruti Suzuki launched India's first flex-fuel car, capable of running on up to 100% ethanol, at a Delhi event with Union Minister Mr. Gadkari and Mr. Puri.
Maruti becomes the first automaker to launch a flex-fuel model. The government will roll out 100 ethanol fuel stations across Delhi-NCR and Maharashtra, targeting 500 by end-2026 and 5,000 by 2027, said Mr. Puri.
