Waaree Energies approved folding its Tumb and Nandigram plants into the existing Chikhli site in Gujarat, alongside a USD 37 million revamp of its Arizona facility.
The Arizona spend takes United States capacity toward 1.6 GW. That is the plant serving American demand from inside the country, so it is the part of the asset base that sits behind the tariff wall rather than exporting into it.

Waaree Energies said its wholly owned arm received a SECI letter of award for 700 MW of solar and a 700 MW, 2,800 MWh storage system at Solapur.
The storage is sized for four hours at full rating, which is what assured supply tenders now require, and the power purchase agreement runs 25 years.

Waaree Energies received an order to supply 212 MW of solar modules to a large power-owning customer.
The order adds to the module order book at India's largest solar module maker by capacity. A single 212 MW award is a routine addition at its scale, but a steady stream of such orders is what keeps utilisation high as new manufacturing capacity comes on line.

Waaree's US arm, Waaree Solar Americas, won an order for 236.22 MW of solar modules.
The buyer develops renewable-energy infrastructure. The win builds Waaree's American order book. It leans on its US manufacturing base to serve local demand.

Waaree Energies bagged an order to supply 800 MW of solar modules to an undisclosed domestic energy firm, for delivery through FY27.
The win lifts Waaree's order book to roughly 53,000 crore rupees, extending revenue visibility well beyond the current year. Module demand is staying firm even as the sector digests fresh manufacturing capacity.

India expects the United States to review anti-dumping duties on Indian solar products, a trade official said, potentially reopening a key export market.
US duties had throttled exporters like Waaree and Premier Energies, so relief would widen their addressable market beyond protected domestic ALMM demand.

India's ALMM List-II mandate came into force June 1, requiring all new RE projects to source solar PV modules using only locally manufactured cells approved under the ALMM framework.
Websol Energy, Premier Energies, and Waaree Energies are among the key ALMM List-II cell manufacturers.
