Vodafone Idea shareholders approved a 4,730 crore rupee preferential warrant issue to Aditya Birla Group entity Suryaja Investments, lifting the promoter stake toward 13 percent.
Of the infusion, 3,000 crore retires debt and 1,730 crore funds capex, the Birla group's first equity commitment since taking the chairmanship in May 2026.
