Tech Mahindra reported Q1 net profit of 1,465 crore rupees, up 28.5 percent year on year, though below the street estimate.
Revenue grew 17.7 percent year on year to 15,712 crore rupees, and EBIT margin improved to 14.41 percent from 13.82 percent a quarter ago, keeping the margin recovery on track. The 1,465 crore rupee profit came in under the 1,694 crore rupee consensus, so the gain on margin did not fully carry to the bottom line.
