TCS will book a 70 million dollar one-time exceptional charge in Q1 FY27 after the US Supreme Court declined to hear its appeal in the DXC trade-secrets case, leaving a 168 million dollar award in place.
The company had already provided 150 million dollars against this matter, so its total exposure now stands at 220 million dollars. The dispute dates to 2019 over alleged misuse of life-insurance software code.
