Steel Strips Wheels posted a second consecutive record month, with August net turnover up 53.6 percent to 592.92 crore rupees.
Gross turnover rose 44.7 percent to 687.51 crore rupees. The two growth rates differ because one is measured net of duties and the other gross, not because either figure is wrong. Aluminium products led at 73 percent growth by value, ahead of two and three wheelers at 61 percent and trucks at 53 percent. Export sales rose 63 percent by value. The company points to commercial vehicle demand, the aluminium wheel ramp for passenger vehicles and EV platforms, and better capacity utilisation.
