Som Distilleries won a Madhya Pradesh High Court order quashing the rejection of its excise licence renewals.
The court set aside the 18 June order, directed renewal of all manufacturing licences within 15 days and awarded Rs 1 lakh in costs. Its right to claim damages for the closure period is preserved.
