Himachal Pradesh will pay SJVN Rs 800 crore to take back the 66 MW Dhaulasidh hydro project on the Beas in Hamirpur.
The state has also directed takeovers of the 382 MW Sunni and 210 MW Luhri Stage-I projects, putting 658 MW of SJVN's pipeline in question. A one-time payment replaces decades of tariff income.

SJVN takes Unit-II of 660 MW at its Buxar thermal plant commercial on 12 September, completing the 1,320 MW project.
The Bihar project will generate 9,828.72 million units a year, of which 85 percent is allocated to Bihar under a long-term power purchase agreement.

The Prime Minister inaugurated SJVN's 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project in Rajasthan.
Adding a gigawatt of operational solar moves generation from the under-construction pipeline into the live book. It lifts the renewable share of the Navratna power CPSE's generation mix.
