RailTel Corporation secured a work order from Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation to run the Haryana State Wide Area Network as a managed service provider.
The mandate covers operation and management of the state network. It is a domestic government contract. It adds recurring O&M revenue to RailTel's book.

RailTel won an order worth Rs 3,345 crore from the Ministry of Railways, among the largest single mandates in its history and several times its usual deal size.
The award sharply expands its order book and deepens its position as the railways' in-house telecom and IT infrastructure arm.
