Rail Vikas Nigam emerged lowest bidder for an East Coast Railway package worth 404.88 crore rupees including tax, to be executed over 30 months.
The scope is roadbed, bridges, road-under-bridges, ballast and permanent-way linking, which is the low-risk civil work RVNL executes rather than the signalling it subcontracts.

Rail Vikas Nigam received a 2,977 crore rupee letter of award including GST from NMDC to set up buffer stockpiles and a 10 MTPA blending yard at Vizag, to be executed over 42 months.
The order is one of RVNL's larger non-railway infrastructure wins and adds firm multi-year revenue visibility from a Maharatna client.
