Polycab India's Q2 revenue rose 53% to Rs 9,899 crore and profit 43% to Rs 990 crore, both record second-quarter highs.
Wires and cables grew 47%, with domestic sales up 50%, while EBITDA rose a slower 39% to Rs 1,423 crore as margins narrowed.

Polycab India said the NCLAT has stayed the NCLT order that admitted an insolvency petition against it over a disputed Rs 2.79 crore debt.
The appellate order, dated 9 October, keeps the insolvency process in abeyance until the appeal is heard on 26 October.

Polycab India said NCLT Ahmedabad admitted an insolvency petition against it over a disputed operational debt of Rs 2.79 crore.
Polycab will appeal to the NCLAT, calling it a commercial dispute, and expects no material impact. It cites net cash above Rs 4,000 crore and net worth of Rs 11,682 crore.
