NBCC received work orders worth 801.20 crore rupees excluding GST, of which 780.38 crore is project management for the Reserve Bank of India.
The RBI mandate covers an office complex at Nelapadu and an officers' and staff residential complex at Inavolu, both in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The remaining 20.82 crore rupees is for hostels in Odisha under the DA JGUA scheme for the Odisha School Education Programme Authority. Scale is what makes this one worth noting: NBCC's routine monthly intimations in July ran 85.64 crore and 108.85 crore rupees, so a single client here is roughly seven times a normal month. Project management consultancy is also a fee-led line rather than a construction risk line, which is the part of NBCC's book that carries the steadier margin.
