Max Estates acquired an 84.71-acre land bank in Najafgarh, west Delhi, for Rs 420.2 crore paid entirely in shares.
The consideration goes out as a preferential issue of about 70 lakh shares at Rs 597.50 each, buying 100 percent of nine land-owning companies, so no cash leaves the business. The parcel carries a stated gross development value of Rs 10,000 to 12,000 crore and marks the company's entry into Delhi residential.
