Kotak Mahindra Bank will buy Deutsche Bank's India retail, private and wealth business for about Rs 281.7 crore.
The slump-sale price is all cash, including non-compete. It brings in roughly Rs 29,000 crore of loans and Rs 16,000 crore of deposits. Completion is targeted by September 2027, subject to approvals.
