Kotak Mahindra Bank reported Q1 FY27 standalone net profit of 4,122 crore rupees, up 25.6 percent year on year from 3,281 crore, ahead of the 3,910 crore estimate.
Gross NPA was 1.18 percent versus 1.20 percent sequentially and net NPA 0.27 percent, a clean beat with steady asset quality.

Kotak Mahindra Bank will buy Deutsche Bank's India retail, private and wealth business for about Rs 281.7 crore.
The slump-sale price is all cash, including non-compete. It brings in roughly Rs 29,000 crore of loans and Rs 16,000 crore of deposits. Completion is targeted by September 2027, subject to approvals.
