JSW Energy will acquire Maruti Clean Coal and Power, owner of a 300 megawatt thermal plant at Korba in Chhattisgarh, for about 1,410 crore rupees.
The plant carries a 195 megawatt Rajasthan power purchase agreement with about fourteen years left, limiting merchant price risk on a small bolt-on buy.
