Jain Irrigation received a Rs 117.96 crore empanelment from MSEDCL to supply and install 5,000 off-grid solar water pumps.
The figure is inclusive of GST and the work is due in 60 days. The scheme pays fixed per-horsepower rates, so the award is exactly half the Rs 235.92 crore Shakti Pumps received for 10,000 pumps on 9 September.
