J. Kumar Infraprojects received a 990.16 crore rupee letter of acceptance from the Karnataka Housing Board for the design and construction of an international cricket stadium at Suryanagara, Indlawadi, in Anekal taluk of Bengaluru Urban district, excluding GST, to be executed over 36 months.
This is the first phase of a 2,350 crore rupee state plan for an 80,000-seat stadium on 75 acres of Housing Board land, cleared by the Karnataka cabinet in October 2025 and tendered at about 950 crore rupees covering stadium construction, connecting roads and allied work. The company reported the same day that Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue was 1,511 crore rupees with profit after tax of 97 crore, and an order book of 22,246 crore rupees as of 30 June. The win therefore adds about 4 percent to a book already running close to fifteen times quarterly revenue, and it takes the company outside the metro viaduct and flyover work it is usually associated with.
