IOL Chemicals will spend Rs 350 crore on a new 6,000 tonne ibuprofen unit at Barnala, lifting capacity by half to 18,000 tonnes.
The unit is fully backward integrated and funded from internal accruals. The company also announced a new formulations CDMO line and a dedicated specialty chemicals facility at the same site.
