Indo Count Industries halted operations at its Bhilad plant in Valsad from 23 July after unprecedented rainfall and flooding.
The company filed the disruption with NSE and BSE on 24 July and said all assets and materials at the site are adequately insured. Bhilad sits in the same Gujarat, Daman and Silvassa belt where Gandhar Oil Refinery and Precision Wires India both reported plant disruption, and Indo Count is the largest listed name to file from the belt so far. It is an export-led home-textiles maker, so a supply gap lands on shipment schedules rather than on domestic sales.
