Hindustan Zinc posted its best-ever first-quarter mined metal production of 268 thousand tonnes, up 1 percent year on year.
It was the highest June-quarter output for a fifth straight year. Refined metal production was 260 thousand tonnes, aided by debottlenecking. Refined zinc rose 6 percent to 213 thousand tonnes. Saleable silver held at 149 tonnes.
