Hindustan Copper received forest clearance for its Chandmari copper mine in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, through a state forest department letter dated 19 June, with the approval co-terminus with the mine lease.
Forest clearance is a hard gate for any mine, so it clears the path to work the deposit across the full lease period.
