Godawari Power and Ispat received an offer letter for a 31.45 acre industrial plot at AURIC Bidkin in Maharashtra for a cold rolling mill.
Maharashtra Industrial Township made the offer on 22 September. The company has not put an investment figure, a capacity or a timeline on the project yet.

Godawari Power and Ispat put a further Rs 150 crore into its wholly-owned subsidiary Godawari New Energy, taking total investment to Rs 600 crore.
The money funds the first phase of a 20 GWh Battery Energy Storage System plant. For an integrated steel and pellet producer, captive battery storage is a genuine new vertical to watch.
