The product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the Fresenius Kabi reference listing under NDA 208418. It follows the fluticasone propionate nasal spray approval a day earlier, and both add volume to the US generics and hospital injectables book.

The reference product recorded about 295 million dollars of US sales in the twelve months to June 2026. That figure is the market being entered, not the revenue earned: nasal spray generics already carry several approved players and price erosion follows each new entrant.

Glenmark, Gland Pharma and B. Braun all went live within two days, turning a first-wave generic opportunity into an immediate price contest.

The label previously covered adults and older patients only. A paediatric extension widens the prescribing base with no new manufacturing spend behind it.
