The government opened an offer for sale to divest up to 5 percent of GIC Re, a 2 percent base with a 3 percent greenshoe, at a floor price of Rs 352, a 9.4 percent discount to the previous close, targeting about Rs 3,088 crore.
Non-retail bidding opened 16 June and retail 17 June; OFS discounts typically pressure the stock near term.
