Equitas Small Finance Bank's proposed GST demand for FY2022-23 was cut to Rs 23.95 crore from Rs 533.81 crore.
Tax authorities accepted the bank's case on exemptions for interest income from standard loans at a hearing on 25 September. The bank intends to contest the balance as well.
