Dixon guided to 20 to 25 percent quarter-on-quarter volume growth in mobiles and other EMS in Q2 FY27, against an order book of 9 to 9.2 million units.
Full-year guidance is 32 to 33 million smartphone units excluding the Vivo joint venture, which the company sizes as a roughly 30,000 crore rupee revenue opportunity with contribution starting in Q3 FY27. The JV is additive to a base that is already guided, so FY28 rather than FY27 is where it shows up at a full run rate.

The government proposed extending the tax exemption for foreign firms supplying equipment to Indian contract manufacturers to FY2040-41, from the present 2031.
The draft bill covers mobile phones, tablets, laptops, hearing and wearable devices, and applies to factories and warehouses in customs-bonded areas that sit outside India's customs border. The original exemption was introduced in February and ran only to 2031. A ten-year extension changes the payback maths on plant that takes years to build, which is exactly what contract manufacturers price against.

Dixon Technologies reported first quarter EBITDA up 105 percent to 991 crore rupees and net profit up 156 percent to 718 crore, on revenue of 16,076 crore including other income.
Profit grew far faster than revenue, so the quarter came from operating leverage rather than volume, and the doubling of EBITDA is what carries it.
