Deepak Nitrite's arm Deepak Chem Tech started manufacturing at its chlorination and specialty chemicals plant at Dahej in Gujarat.
Capital spending on the plant reached about Rs 300 crore at commissioning. It is one piece of a Rs 11,000 crore programme the company expects to have fully onstream by the second half of FY2028-29.
