Bharat Petroleum will acquire a 40 percent equity stake in Tiki Tar and Shell India for Rs 85 crore in cash, taking the refiner deeper into the value-added bitumen used for highways and airport runways.
The target makes VG, polymer-modified and crumb-rubber bitumen and booked Rs 404.6 crore of revenue in FY26, a small outlay cleared by DIPAM and expected to close within 90 days.
