Balu Forge Industries acquired a ring rolling production line adding about 18,000 tonnes of heavy ring rolling capacity, with rings up to 6.7 metres in outer diameter.
Rings that size go into wind turbine flanges, aerospace and missile casings, nuclear pressure vessels and subsea components, which is a different margin pool from its crankshaft base.

Balu Forge commercialised its 155mm extended-range shells with a pilot order of 10,000 units from an Indian ammunition manufacturer.
It is the first purchase order for this variant and follows the February five-year agreement tied to the company's NATO supply-chain onboarding.
