AnantGrid is 26 percent Bajel and 74 percent NIIF, so Bajel carries the construction work and a minority equity stake rather than the whole asset. Scope runs to roughly 270 km of 765 kV double-circuit line from Halvad to Vadodara in Gujarat, plus works at the Halvad, Vadodara and South Olpad substations. It emerged L1 in the e-reverse auction held on 6 and 7 August, and PFC Consulting has issued the letter of intent.

The award runs 33 months on the TBCB route and is Bajel's third in three days, against an unexecuted order book of 4,055 crore at 30 June with transmission already 82 percent of the mix.

Both sit under the WR-ER inter-regional network expansion scheme, a 765 kV double-circuit line from Raigarh to Jamshedpur and a 400 kV line linking Jamshedpur to Ranchi, so the work is grid backbone rather than distribution.
