The Moopen family bought 46.09 lakh shares of Aster DM Quality Care from TPG-backed Centella for about 350 crore rupees.
The shares changed hands at 760 rupees each, taking promoter holding to about 24.58 percent. A private equity holder is selling down.

Aster DM Quality Care will invest 134.4 crore rupees to add 184 beds at KIMSHEALTH in Thiruvananthapuram.
Subsidiary KIMS Health Care Management will build a new block and reconfigure existing facilities, taking the hospital from 795 beds to about 979 by May 2028. Funding is split 70 percent debt and 30 percent equity. This is the first sizeable capacity commitment since the Aster and Quality Care merger took effect on 1 July 2026.

Aster DM Healthcare subscribed to Rs 45.09 crore of equity in its wholly owned Sarjapur super-speciality hospital via a rights issue.
The outlay is an intra-group capital injection into an existing Bengaluru unit rather than an external acquisition.
