Ashoka Buildcon received a Rs 602.16 crore letter of acceptance from Rail Vikas Nigam for electro-mechanical works on the Rishikesh to Karnprayag rail line.
The scope covers tunnels T-13 to T-16 under Package E-4: GIS substations at 33/11 kV and 11/0.433 kV, HT and LT cabling, ventilation, fire-fighting and lighting. Execution runs 30 months, against a performance bank guarantee of Rs 25.51 crore and a two-year defect liability period.
